The HESC-T-006 is a long-distance RS-232 extender featuring photoelectric isolation. It is designed to extend the communication range between two asynchronous RS-232 devices up to 12 km. The HESC-T-006 features a compact, 'mini' form factor and has no specific requirements for wiring type. Additionally, the device is entirely port-powered, eliminating the need for an external power supply.
The HESC-T-006 is widely deployed in point-to-point RS-232 communications, host-to-terminal connections, RS-232 remote control systems, billing terminals for program-controlled switches, and satellite receiver interfaces.
