The HESC-T-015 is a high-performance converter compliant with RS-232C and RS-485 standards. It converts single-ended RS-232 signals into balanced differential RS-485 signals. To ensure robust system integrity, the RS-485 interface features integrated Transient Voltage Suppression (TVS). Additionally, low inter-electrode capacitance ensures high-speed data transmission across all RS-485 ports. The RS-232 port utilizes a DB9 female connector for standard RS-232C interfacing, while the RS-485 output supports both RJ45 and 4-pin terminal block connections.

The converter features built-in, zero-delay automatic send/receive switching and unique I/O circuitry to control data flow direction. This eliminates the need for handshake signals (such as RTS or DTR) and ensures full compatibility with existing communication software and hardware without requiring legacy RS-232 mode configurations.

The HESC-T-015 supports point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication. In point-to-multipoint mode, each converter can interface with up to 32 RS-485 devices at baud rates ranging from 300 to 115,200 bps.
