The HESC-T-012 converter is compatible with both RS-232 and RS-485 standards, transforming single-ended RS-232 signals into balanced differential RS-485 signals. It extends RS-232 communication up to 1.2 kilometers without the need for an external power supply.
By utilizing zero-delay automatic transceiver switching and specialized I/O circuitry, it manages data flow direction automatically—eliminating the need for handshake signals such as RTS or DTR. Supporting transmission rates from 300 bps to 115.2 Kbps, this device is ideal for industrial automation, access control, parking systems, and automated toll or banking solutions.
