The HESC-T-035 is an industrial hub specifically designed for RS-485 bus applications in high-interference electromagnetic environments. It supports transmission rates up to 115.2 kbps. To ensure secure and reliable data communication, each RS-485 port utilizes optical isolation technology to protect against lightning and surges. The built-in isolator and 600 W surge protection circuit provide 2.5 kV of isolation for lightning and ESD protection. Additionally, the device uses an external switching power supply to eliminate common-ground interference, making it an ideal solution for outdoor applications.
In RS-485 mode, the Automatic Data Direction Control (ADDC) circuitry automatically identifies and manages the data flow direction. This eliminates the need for software handshaking and solves common RS-485 timing delay issues. With a transmission distance exceeding 1,200 m, the HESC-T-035 is widely used in highway toll systems, traffic monitoring, and power utility networks.
