The HESC-T-036 is a high-performance RS-485/422 bus-segmentation hub, powered by an integrated microprocessor for non-stop operation. It is specifically engineered to handle large-scale RS-485/422 system requirements within complex electromagnetic environments. Supporting baud rates up to 115.2 kbps, the device ensures secure and stable data communication through advanced optical isolation technology at all RS-485/422 interfaces.
To safeguard connected equipment, the HESC-T-036 features built-in optoisolators and a robust surge protection circuit capable of withstanding 3,000A (8/20μs waveform). It provides 2,500 Vrms isolation voltage, effectively suppressing lightning strikes, ESD, and common-ground interference—making it ideal for demanding outdoor engineering applications.
For seamless communication, the device utilizes intelligent discrimination circuitry to sense data flow direction and automatically switch enable-control, eliminating RS-485/422 transceiver latency. It supports transmission distances exceeding 1,200 meters with consistent stability.
The HESC-T-036 enables efficient star-topology networking, providing each port with short-circuit and open-circuit protection. By segmenting the network, it enhances overall reliability: should a lightning strike or equipment failure occur, the affected segment is isolated, allowing the rest of the network to function normally. This significantly minimizes maintenance time and maximizes system uptime.
