The HESC-T-040 is a high-performance RS-485 bus segmentation hub featuring a dual-core, non-stop operational design. It is specifically engineered to meet the demanding requirements of large-scale RS-485 systems in environments with complex electromagnetic interference.

Supporting transmission rates up to 115.2 kbps, the device ensures secure and reliable data communication through optical isolation technology on the RS-485 interfaces. This prevents lightning strikes and surges from damaging the converter and connected equipment. With built-in photoelectric isolators and a 1,500W surge protection circuit, it provides an isolation voltage of 2,500 Vrms, effectively suppressing ESD, lightning, and common-ground interference. Powered by a stable external switching power supply, it is exceptionally well-suited for rugged outdoor engineering applications.

In RS-485 mode, the integrated discrimination circuitry automatically senses data flow direction and switches the enable-control circuit, seamlessly resolving transceiver latency issues. The RS-485 interfaces support stable transmission distances exceeding 1,200 meters.

The HESC-T-040 facilitates star-topology RS-485 bus connections, with each port equipped with independent short-circuit and open-circuit protection.
