The HEUS-T-035 is a high-performance USB to RS-485/422 converter that operates without an external power supply. It features an integrated photoelectric isolator and a DC/DC power isolation module, providing galvanic isolation up to 2,500 Vrms. Fully compliant with USB, RS-422, and RS-485 standards, the device converts single-ended USB signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signals. For enhanced reliability in industrial environments, the RS-485/422 interfaces are equipped with high-speed transient voltage suppression (TVS) protectors to shield against surges and ESD. Ultra-low inter-electrode capacitance ensures high-speed data transmission for the RS-485/422 interface.
The converter features integrated zero-delay automatic transceiver switching. Its unique I/O circuitry automatically manages data flow direction without the need for hardware handshaking signals (such as RTS or DTR). No jumper settings are required to switch between full-duplex (RS-422) and half-duplex (RS-485) modes, ensuring true plug-and-play operation and total compatibility with existing communication software and hardware.
The HEUS-T-035 photoelectric-isolated interface converter provides reliable connections for both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint topologies. In point-to-multipoint mode, the converter supports up to 128 nodes per port. The device supports data rates from 300 bps to 128,000 bps and features dedicated LED indicators for power and data flow to assist with system monitoring and troubleshooting.
