The HEUS-T-036 is a universal USB to RS-485/422 converter featuring a built-in photoelectric isolator and an isolated DC/DC power module. Compliant with USB, RS-422, and RS-485 standards, it converts single-ended USB signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signals. To ensure maximum reliability in harsh environments, the integrated photoelectric isolator provides up to 2,500 Vrms of isolation voltage, complemented by fast transient voltage suppression to protect the RS-485/422 interfaces.
The converter features zero-latency automatic transceiver conversion and unique I/O circuitry that manages data flow direction without the need for handshaking signals (such as RTS or DTR). This eliminates the need for jumper settings when switching between full-duplex (RS-422) and half-duplex (RS-485) modes. The device is plug-and-play and ensures seamless integration across all modern communication software and hardware.
The HEUS-T-036 supports both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint communication, allowing for the connection of up to 128 devices. It supports Auto-Baud rates from 300 bps to 921.6 kbps, with integrated power and data flow indicators for real-time status monitoring.
