The HESC-T-024 is a high-performance photoelectric isolated interface converter, fully compliant with RS-232C, RS-422, and RS-485 standards. It effectively converts single-ended RS-232 signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signals. The device features an integrated photoelectric isolator capable of providing up to 2,500 Vrms of isolation voltage, effectively shielding your equipment from ground loops and electrical noise. For port-level safety, the RS-485/422 interfaces are equipped with advanced TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors). These diodes provide 600W of lightning and surge protection per wire, clamping instantaneous over-voltage from all sources. Furthermore, low inter-electrode capacitance ensures high-speed, reliable data transmission across all ports.
This converter is designed for Plug & Play efficiency, featuring built-in zero-delay automatic receive/transmit switching. The unique I/O circuitry automatically manages data flow direction without the need for handshake signals (RTS, DTR) or manual jumper settings. It is fully compatible with modern communication software and hardware, requiring no modifications to legacy RS-232 configurations.
The HESC-T-024 supports point-to-multipoint configurations, allowing up to 32 RS-422 or RS-485 devices to be connected simultaneously on a single network.
