The HESC-T-025 is a high-capacity photoelectric isolated interface converter, fully compliant with RS-232C, RS-422, and RS-485 standards. It is designed to convert single-ended RS-232 signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signals with maximum reliability. To ensure system stability in harsh electrical environments, the HESC-T-025 features an integrated photoelectric isolator providing up to 2,500 Vrms of isolation. Additionally, the RS-485/422 interfaces are protected by advanced TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressors). These components provide 600W of lightning and surge protection per wire, clamping instantaneous over-voltage from all sources. Low interelectrode capacitance further ensures high-speed, low-distortion data transmission.
Featuring built-in zero-delay automatic receive/transmit switching, the HESC-T-025 manages data flow direction via unique I/O circuitry. This eliminates the need for hardware handshake signals (RTS, DTR) or manual jumper settings. The device is fully Plug & Play, maintaining compatibility with all modern communication software and legacy RS-232 hardware.
The HESC-T-025 is engineered for scalable industrial communication, supporting both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations. In point-to-multipoint mode, a single converter can support up to 128 RS-422 or RS-485 devices simultaneously. It supports a wide range of baud rates, from 300 bps to 115.2 kbps.
