The HESC-T-020 is an industrial-grade converter compatible with RS-232C, RS-422, and RS-485 standards. It is engineered to seamlessly convert single-ended RS-232 signals into balanced differential RS-422 or RS-485 signals. Featuring built-in optical isolation, the device provides up to 2,500 Vrms of isolation voltage to protect your sensitive equipment from ground loops and electrical transients.

Equipped with cutting-edge Transient Voltage Suppressors (TVS), the HESC-T-020 is purpose-built to safeguard RS-422/485 interfaces. It effectively suppresses lightning strikes and ESD, providing 600W of lightning surge protection per wire, along with protection against surge voltages and transient overvoltages. Furthermore, its ultra-low inter-electrode capacitance ensures high-speed data transmission without signal degradation.

The HESC-T-020 supports both point-to-point and point-to-multipoint configurations. In multi-point mode, a single converter can support up to 32 RS-422 or RS-485 devices.
