The HEUS-T-010 is an industrial-grade, universal USB to RS-232 converter featuring 2,500 Vrms photoelectric isolation. Fully compatible with USB and RS-232 standards, this bus-powered device converts single-ended USB signals into RS-232 without the need for an external power supply.
Utilizing unique I/O circuitry with zero-delay automatic transceiver technology, the converter intelligently manages data flow direction. To ensure maximum reliability, the RS-232 interface is equipped with high-performance TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) diodes and gas discharge tubes. This protection system effectively suppresses lightning and ESD—providing 600W of surge protection per wire—while minimizing inter-electrode capacitance to maintain high-speed signal integrity.
